Terms of Service

We build software in public. Some of it is live, some is in development, and some is paused:

• NED is in development. Features, platforms and release dates can change, and joining the waitlist does not guarantee access.
• Vaani is currently paused. Its live demo and any deployments may be changed or withdrawn at any time.

You agree to use our services lawfully and not to:

• break the law, or infringe the rights of others;
• attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• abuse the Vaani helpline, for example with false reports or harassment;
• reverse engineer or copy our software except where the law allows it.

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's consent, to use our products.

NED and Vaani use AI. AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Do not rely on it for medical, legal, financial or emergency decisions. You are responsible for how you use its output and for any actions you let NED take on your device, such as changing settings or accessing files.

You keep ownership of what you give us. You grant us a limited licence to process it only as needed to run the service for you. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

The ShipNYap name, logos, the NED character designs, website and software are ours or our licensors'. These terms do not give you rights to use them beyond normal use of the services.

Our services link to or rely on third parties (for example Typeform, YouTube and social platforms). We are not responsible for their content or practices.

Our services are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. Early-stage and demo products may contain bugs or be unavailable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShipNYap and its builders are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data, profit or goodwill, arising from your use of the services.

We may suspend or end access to our services if you breach these terms or to protect the service and other users.

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
